What is ePower?

ePower is a free online tool at CHNCT that allows our Participating  Providers to check the eligibility of CHNCT members as well as determining the current status of a submitted Claim or Authorization.  A new section allows selected providers to enter authorization requests electronically. This system runs on a secure web server and all patient data is protected when you are connected. Securely log-on to the ePower site.

How do I sign up for ePower?

Please check with your facility to find out if your facility or practice has an ePower contract. If the answer is yes, please have your supervisor e-mail epowerhelp@chnct.org to be set up with a username and password. If your facility does not have an existing contract, please read below:

ePower is available for use by our participating providers. The first step toward utilizing this tool is to ensure that you have a contract in place with CHNCT to be a participating provider. If you feel that you meet the technical requirements and want to get started, click below on ePower Addendum. Print and sign 2 copies and mail to Provider Relations/ePower at 11 Fairfield Blvd, Wallingford, CT 06492. This can also be faxed to us at 203-265-3590. Once we receive the addendum, we will have it executed and your group will be set up in our system. We will then e-mail and mail you back instructions on how to log onto ePower.

Please contact your Provider Representative or email us if you have any questions regarding this free tool. Should you email us, please be sure to submit your Practice name, address, phone number, tax id number and type of services provided. A CHNCT staff member who can explain or demonstrate the ePower product to you at your convenience will contact you shortly.
