Pharmacy

As of 2/1/08, the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) will begin managing all the pharmacy benefits for the HUSKY and SAGA programs.

EDS will process pharmacy claims for DSS and EDS will also handle all pharmacy prior authorization requests.

For prior authorizations, please contact the EDS Prior Authorization Call Center which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-866-409-8386 or locally at 860-269-2030. For general provider inquiries, please call 1-800-842-8440 (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST).
