IMPORTANT NOTICE
In response to the Connecticut Medical Assistance Program Provider Bulletin (PB 2011-69), dated August 2011, coverage of podiatry services has been expanded for HUSKY A members, 21 years of age and older. Coverage will now include reimbursement for podiatry services performed by independently enrolled podiatrists, effective 10/1/2011. Previously, reimbursement had been limited to podiatry services performed in clinic and hospital settings. HUSKY A members, under the age of 21, may continue to receive podiatry services in either an independent or clinic setting.
