Adopt-a-Shelter Español
Our Adopt-a-Shelter program strives to help a needy and overlooked population. Through this program, CHNCT works to improve the lives of others. We also hope to promote equality.
CHNCT adopts shelters a few times a year. This is done all over the state. We help these shelters by learning what their needs are. We then work to fill those needs. We provide nutrition education.
In 2009, we began working with community organizations. Our first partner was Norton Elementary School in Cheshire. We teamed up to help Shelter N.O.W. in Meriden.
The Norton community donated dozens of boxes of goods. We would like to thank them for setting the bar for future drives. |
