Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. (CHNCT), "The One with The Sun," is a not-for-profit health plan that was founded by nine Connecticut Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). CHNCT provides statewide health care services for the State of Connecticut HUSKY A, HUSKY B and SAGA Populations.

CHNCT currently has more than 130,000 members. The FQHC's have a statewide network for primary care, specialty care, inpatient, rehabilitation and outpatient locations to provide health services to our members. CHNCT has contract agreements with other companies to provide services for transportation, pharmacy, dental and vision services.

CHNCT is one of two health plans serving Connecticut HUSKY participants and the only program serving the State Administered General Assistance (SAGA) program.  What sets us apart from our competitors is our 100% commitment to state sponsored programs, a strong belief in personal service and above all a true appreciation for the diversity of our Sun Family Members.  The only not-for-profit HUSKY health plan, we go above and beyond what is expected of us to provide for our members
