Coming soon... important changes to the HUSKY program and Charter Oak Health Plan!
Starting January 1, 2012, new applicants and current HUSKY and Charter Oak members will no longer be enrolled in a health plan (Aetna Better Health, AmeriChoice or Community Health Network) or in HUSKY Primary Care. Instead, all services will be coordinated by the Department of Social Services’ single, statewide administrative services organization, or ASO. Community Health Network of Connecticut has been chosen to be the HUSKY Health and Charter Oak Health Plan ASO.
A letter with information about this change was sent to all current HUSKY and Charter Oak members during the first week of November. Please click here to see the HUSKY letter or here for the Charter Oak letter. Please call 1-800-656-6684 if you have any questions about this change. Starting December 1, 2011, please call the new HUSKY Health program and Charter Oak Health Plan at 1-800-859-9889 if you have any questions or need more information about this change.
Please continue to use your current health plan ID card for medical services until December 31, 2011.
¡Vienen pronto... cambios importantes al programa HUSKY y al Plan de Salud Charter Oak!
Empezando el 1 de Enero de 2012, nuevos applicantes y miembros actuales de HUSKY y Charter Oak no estarán inscritos en un plan de salud (Aetna Better Health, AmeriChoice o Community Health Network) o con HUSKY Primary Care.
